What is concierge care?

Concierge care provides patients with additional benefits not found in a standard practice including same-day or next-day appointments, little-to-no wait time, extended visits with your physician, 24/7 direct contact to Dr. Celano, and access to nutrition coaching.

What does the membership plan include?

Your membership fee includes easy same-day or next-day physician access. You will have direct access to Dr. Celano without having to go through an answering service. If hospitalized, Dr. Celano will still provide you inpatient care as he has maintained full hospital privileges. Dr Celano feels this is an important service to maintain and sets this practice apart from many others. You will also receive access to nutritional counseling, timely communication of your lab results, as well as other preventative services and benefits.

What if I have insurance or Medicare?

You are allowed to see a concierge care physician if you have insurance or Medicare. The additional membership fee provides an array of enhanced services not found in a standard cardiovascular practice.

Do you bill insurance?

Yes. Our practice is designed to enhance your patient experience. We will continue to bill your insurance for services provided.

Do I still need insurance?

Yes. It’s very important to maintain insurance and/or Medicare to cover your healthcare needs

Can I see Dr. Celano as often as I want?

Yes, with the concierge care model, you can see Dr. Celano as often as you need to with little-to-no wait time.

Do you make house calls?

Yes, on a case-by-case basis, Dr. Celano can make arrangements to see you in your home when medically appropriate.

What if I need urgent care?

For problems that are not life-threatening emergencies, you can contact Dr. Celano 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In most cases, he can diagnose and treat your need without a visit to the ER. If you have a life-threatening emergency, call 911 immediately.

What if Dr. Celano is on vacation?

As a concierge patient of Celano Cardiology, you are never alone. If Dr. Celano is not available, there will be another trusted medical professional available to assist his patients.

What if I want to end my membership with Celano Cardiology?

You can cancel your membership at any time with 30 days advanced notice. We will refund memberships paid annually or semi-annually at a prorated rate.
